Identification
Coreus marginatus is a large and mottled reddish-brown squashbug with a broad oval abdomen. Adults are approximately 14mm in length with a broad rounded abdomen and browngreyish colouration.
Habitat and Diet
Coreus marginatus is commonly known as the dock bug as it feeds on the leaves of docks and other broad-leaved plants. It is found in a variety of habitats, including meadows, grasslands, and woodlands.
