TURIN, Italy - Alexander Zverev captured his sixth ATP Masters 1000 title on Sunday, defeating Nicolas Jarry in straight sets (6-3, 7-5) in the final of the Erste Bank Open.
Zverev, a former junior world No. 1, has consistently impressed on the professional tour since his early breakthrough. The German's victory in Turin marks his second career ATP Masters 1000 title, adding to his previous triumph at the 2018 Rome Masters.
