Missing Intel Device Drivers After CPU Upgrade

Intel Device Left Out of Chipset Driver

After upgrading their CPU from an i7-12700KF to an i7-13700K, some users are encountering a missing device driver issue. The affected device is identified as "Signal processing controller - Intel Corporation Device" in the device manager, and the update driver option proves unsuccessful.

Driver Compatibility Issue

Upon further investigation, it has been discovered that Intel omitted the hardware ID for this device from the chipset driver. Consequently, the driver remains missing even after installing the chipset driver. The absence of this driver in the HP-Intel driver folder confirms this omission.

Compatible Drivers

Fortunately, two compatible drivers have been identified for the affected device, which has the Device ID PCIVEN_8086DEV_A77D:
