Caitlin Clark's Emotional Reunion with Former Iowa Teammate

Indiana Fever Lose to Las Vegas Aces

Caitlin Clark, the Iowa Hawkeyes star, had an emotional reunion with her former teammate Monika Czinano on Sunday when the Indiana Fever played the Las Vegas Aces.

Clark and Czinano were teammates at Iowa for two seasons, and they helped lead the Hawkeyes to the Sweet 16 in 2021. Czinano transferred to Arizona after the 2021-22 season, but the two players remain close friends.

Before the game, Clark and Czinano embraced and exchanged a few words. Clark said it was great to see her former teammate and that she was happy for her success.

Czinano said she was also happy to see Clark and that she was proud of everything she has accomplished in her career.

The Indiana Fever lost to the Las Vegas Aces 93-80 on Sunday. Clark led the Fever with 20 points and 7 assists, while Czinano had 14 points and 8 rebounds for the Aces.
