Bensheim, Germany - Authorities in Bensheim are urgently appealing for the public's assistance in locating an 11-year-old girl who has been reported missing since yesterday evening.

The young girl, identified as Hanna Schmidt, was last seen leaving her home in the Fehlheimer Straße area of Bensheim around 6:00 PM on March 8, 2023.

Hanna is described as approximately 4 feet tall, with a slim build, long blonde hair, and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a pink jacket, blue jeans, and white sneakers.

Police have been conducting an extensive search operation throughout the night, involving officers on foot, in vehicles, and a helicopter.

Investigators are urging anyone who may have seen Hanna or who has any information about her whereabouts to contact the Bensheim Police Department immediately.
